AIBA Receives the ALCOBEV CSR Award from Aabkari Times Magazine

The beverage alcohol industry remains an important contributor to the economic development of the state through investments, employment generation and tax revenues. In particular, the beer industry — encompassing manufacturing, distribution and retail sales — continues to be a significant contributor to excise collections. A well-functioning and progressive retail ecosystem is therefore essential for sustaining growth and supporting the government's revenue objectives.
As Uttar Pradesh pursues its ambitious excise revenue target of ₹60,000 crore for FY 2026–27, collaborative efforts between the Excise Department, industry stakeholders, manufacturers, distributors and retailers will be critical. Initiatives such as the UP Liquor Retail Awards help foster a culture of excellence and partnership, ultimately contributing to a more responsible, transparent and efficient beverage alcohol sector.
