AIBA's Leadership Connect – 2026

"Leadership is Not Built in Boardrooms. It is Built by Listening."

The strength of an industry association is not measured by the number of representations it submits, but by the quality of relationships it builds with the industry it represents.

With this belief, the All India Brewers' Association (AIBA) has launched Leadership Connect 2026, a nationwide initiative to personally engage with brewery leadership across India.

Our objective is simple:
Listen. Understand. Collaborate. Represent.

As part of this initiative, AIBA Secretary General, Mr. Gopal Joshi, visited member company Yuksom Breweries Pvt. Ltd., Kolkata, and met with Mr. Sudip Barman, Chief Executive Officer, and his leadership team.

The discussions covered a broad range of industry and policy matters relevant to the growth and development of India's beer sector. We exchanged perspectives on state-specific regulatory developments, policy priorities, market opportunities, enhancing the competitiveness of the Indian brewing industry, responsible brewing practices and the evolving landscape of India's beer sector. Such interactions enable AIBA to better understand the realities faced by breweries and ensure that its advocacy is informed by practical industry insights.

During the visit, AIBA also presented the Certificate of Membership, reaffirming a partnership built on trust, collaboration and a shared commitment to advancing the Indian brewing industry.

Every brewery has its own journey. Every state presents unique opportunities and regulatory challenges. Every conversation provides valuable insights that strengthen the collective voice of the industry.

Leadership Connect is more than a series of visits; it is AIBA's commitment to engaging directly with brewery leadership, fostering meaningful dialogue and ensuring that every important industry conversation begins with listening.

We sincerely thank Mr. Sudip Barman and the entire team at Yuksom Breweries Pvt. Ltd. for their warm hospitality, valuable insights and continued partnership.

Together, we remain committed to building a stronger, more collaborative and globally competitive Indian beer industry.

Listening. Engaging. Representing.
